Merry Christmas

h1 Saturday, December 25th, 2004

It’s christmas day and I am watching the christmas story. My favorite movie to watch on christmas. I like lot of other movies for christmas but this has been a tradition for me personally. Love the line: “You’ll shoot your eye out kid!”

Christmas Time

h1 Thursday, December 23rd, 2004

It’s christmas time again when family gets together and have some fun. Christmas is two days away and it’s getting excited. I don’t look forward to the presents. I look forward to getting together and watching the kids get there presents. I wonder when did it change for me? As a child christmas was only about presents for ME! Now I think about how much fun the kids will have with their new toys. Somewhere between being a child and becoming an adult things changed for me.

Harry Potter announcement

h1 Wednesday, December 22nd, 2004

The 6th harry potter book will be out in July 16th. I’ve read all the previous books and can’t wait for this book to come out. These books are exactly what I would have love to read when I was younger. I remember loving stores about wizards. Excalibur was my favorite movie with merlin and his magic. Lord of the rings also caught my attention but I only had the books and cartoons of it when I was growing up. So I am jealous of the kids now that can read these books and enjoy it with a kids mind. I can still enjoy the world as an adult. Maybe I should start reading these books again from the beginning.

Independent movies

h1 Tuesday, December 14th, 2004

With all the news about the MPAA ad RIAA actions against people I really glad that I watch lot more independent movies than the big budget hollywood movies. Movies can be made for a lot less. The big star actors can be paid a lot less and maybe give back to the actors who are just as good as they are but don’t have the star power. I think it’s been two or three years since I stepped into a theater. Way too expensive to watch a movie now. If i want to see a movie I’ll go to the big stadium seats which cost more but I get a better experience. I’ll keep renting my movies and give my money to the film makers who actually love making movies and not making money. Not saying making money is bad but when someone can make a good movie for thousands of dollars rather than millions of dollars. I call that wasting money. Most of the big budget movies don’t have good stories or characters. Spending money just because you can doesn’t mean you should. Many low budget films can do just as great as a big budget movie and sometimes even better. Well when the hollywood people go back to their roots maybe I’ll be more willing to give them my money.

Half Life 2 Review

h1 Sunday, December 5th, 2004

OK, This game has to be one of my favorite games. Think the last game that I had so much fun was “Kingdom Hearts.” Half Life 2 has a great story. The graphics are amazing. The Physics of the game is astonishing. I could use almost everything in the game as a weapon or a throwing toy. I loved when I got the gravity gun. Picked up stuff and threw it at the monsters. When I got to the vehicle parts I thought this is exactly the game I always wanted to play. Haven’t finished the game yet but I am almost at the end.
