Funny flash movie

h1 Tuesday, September 20th, 2005

Sometimes I browse the web and find something really unique. Well Today I found this site which has some re-enactments of some famous movies. The funny thing is all the characters are played by bunnies and all re-enactments are 30 second flash movies. Some of these movies are too funny and thought it would be a great place to visit for some comedy. Check these out and laugh!

Sequels and Remakes?

h1 Saturday, August 20th, 2005

I‘ve always had a problem with remakes of movies. I am a fan of movies so I love watching the old black and white movies. This is the way to really enjoy movies and the process of making movies. The recent remaking of old movies just doesn’t sit right with me. I would rather have this generation watch old movies and see how movies have changed since then. If a movie is remade they might not ever want to see the original again. Some old movies are really bad and might be a better movie now if remade with all the special effects. But I would rather watch a new movie with a fresh story. I would rather know there are creative people making movies. I watch a lot of B movies and love them for their creativity and low budget special effects.I actually wrote about this before here.

TDavid from MakeYouGohmm.com says:

Just when I think the sequel train is slowing (it will never stop), Jurassic Park 4 violates the radar. What is Spielberg thinking? OK, I’m sort of interested in Indiana Jones 4, but at the present time have 0.000000001% interest in Jurassic Park 4.

Sequels I don’t have a lot of problems with. Some movies I actually would love to see a sequel so I can follow the characters experiences. “[tag]Harry Potter[/tag]“ and “[tag]Star Wars[/tag]“ are a good example of a sequels I enjoy. Each one of those sequels were different and had a refreshing story. There are some sequels who come out just because the first movie was popular. Other sequels are franchises like “[tag]Friday the 13th[/tag]“ or “[tag]Halloween[/tag]“, which I loved watching. “[tag]Jurassic Park[/tag] 4″ could be a fun movie but I would rather see a fresh new dinosaur movie. There must be other writers that can write about a whole new story about dinosaurs. I’d rather see a movie that I don’t know anything about instead of something that continues a story I knew about. So Stop with the remakes and only make sequels for a good story.

Independent movies

With all the news about the [tag]MPAA[/tag] ad [tag]RIAA[/tag] actions against people I really glad that I watch lot more [tag]independent movies[/tag] than the big budget [tag]hollywood[/tag] movies. Movies can be made for a lot less. The big star actors can be paid a lot less and maybe give back to the actors who are just as good as they are but don’t have the star power. I think it’s been two or three years since I stepped into a theater. Way too expensive to watch a movie now. If i want to see a movie I’ll go to the big stadium seats which cost more but I get a better experience. I’ll keep renting my movies and give my money to the film makers who actually love making movies and not making money. Not saying making money is bad but when someone can make a good movie for thousands of dollars rather than millions of dollars. I call that wasting money. Most of the big budget movies don’t have good stories or characters. Spending money just because you can doesn’t mean you should. Many low budget films can do just as great as a big budget movie and sometimes even better. Well when the hollywood people go back to their roots maybe I’ll be more willing to give them my money.
