The release date for the 5th movie of the harry potter series is July 13th, 2007 for the U.S. The release date for the 7th book will be July 7th, 2007. This means it will be a very busy week for harry potter fans. I am very excited for the next movie and to read the next book. The 7th book should be the final book in the series. Will harry survive or die in the last book? If he survives will J.K. Rowling make any more harry potter books after? Guess we will just have to wait and see.
I read this book when I was 12 years old. I loved this book so much and I remembered the clown ever since. The scene I remembered the most was when little Georgie was sailing his paper boat down the street. The boat goes down the sewer and the clown is down there with the boat. I had nightmares over that ever since. Even after the movie came out. The relationships of all the kids are terrific. I really felt I was watching them while I was reading. If you only seen the movie I recommend you read the book also!!
Different Seasons In the third story, a writer looks back on the trek he took with three friends on the brink of adolescence to find another boy's corpse. The trip becomes a character-rich rite of passage from youth to maturity.Different Seasons (1982) is a collection of four novellas, markedly different in tone and subject, each on the theme of a journey. The first is a rich, satisfying, nonhorrific tale about an innocent man who carefully nurtures hope and devises a wily scheme to escape from prison. The second concerns a boy who discards his innocence by enticing an old man to travel with him into a reawakening of long-buried evil.

What did Harry Potter know about magic? He was stuck with the decidedly un-magical Dursleys, who hated him. He slept in a closet and ate their leftovers. But an owl messenger changes all that, with an invitation to attend the Hogwarts School for Wizards and Witches, where it turns out Harry is already famous.
Harry Potter has never been the star of the Quidditch team, scoring points while riding a broom high above the ground. He knows no spells, has never helped to hatch a dragon, and has never worn the cloak of invisibility.
All he knows is a miserable life with the Dursleys, his horrible aunt and uncle, and their abominable son, Dudley-a great big swollen spoiled bully. Harry’s room is a tiny closet at the foot of the stairs, and he hasn’t had a birthday party in eleven years.
But all that is about to change whena mysterious letter arrives by an owl messenger: a letter with an invitation to an incredible place that Harry- and anyone who reads about him-will find unforgettable.
For it’s there that he finds notonly friends, aerial sports, and magic in everything from classes to meals, but a great destiny awaiting him…if Harry can survive the encounter.
